DJ  Diego Doigneau

Born in Argentina, he studied music and theatre in both Buenos Aires and London. Since 2008, he has been a resident DJ at Negracha Tango Club, London's largest milonga, for nine years, and has also played at many other milongas in London and throughout the UK.

   

He has provided music for major tango festivals and milongas around the world, including River Tango in London, MSTF in Porec, Sevilla Tango Festival, Brussels Tango Festival, Lisbon Tango Festival, Mallorca Tango Festival, El Yeite in Budapest, Southern California Tango Championship and Festival, Milano Tango Pop, El Huracan Marathon, Lisbon Tango Marathon, Araka in Parma, Roma Tango Fest, Ljubljana Tango Festival, CircuiTo milonguero in Turin, Festivalito in Edinburgh, Tango Torino Festival, Milano Festival, Maldito Tango in Sweden, Otoño en Palermo Tango Festival, Bella Ciao Marathon in Tours France, Dos Corazones Tango Accademia, Milonga Pasional in Porto, El Abrazo in Skipton UK, also Practica X, Viva la Pepa, El Motivo, Las Malevas, El Beso and Milonga Discepolo in Buenos Aires and many others.

  

In addition to his work as a DJ, he currently organizes Milonga Un Placer in London and was involved in the organization and creation of other milongas such as Tango Etnia, Milonga 3D in London, and Milonga Porteña.
As a DJ, he creates a musical journey for dancers, selecting songs to vary the atmosphere of the evening. He primarily plays orchestras from the golden age of tango, but also incorporates modern orchestras into the mix depending on the night. He has a deep love for music, the nightlife, and keeping people dancing long after the milonga has ended.
