Lorenzo was part of the new school of tango DJs that helped to popularise neo / alt / nuevo music at milongas over the past 10 years. First as part of Creative Tango Nottingham, DJing in the East Midlands, and onto festivals in Sheffield, York and Swansea where he has been a regular DJ at the Neo Nuevo Festival. He has also played at Toulouse Neo Tango Marathon, broadcast neo tango around the world and helped pioneer bringing European DJs to the UK. He draws from frequent visits to major European Neo Tango events, and home grown events, creating warm, welcoming sets that contrast emotions, musical textures and rhythms whilst gently stretching the dancers.
